Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and Dallas, Texas, United States, March 2025 – Cyient Limited, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has announced the appointment of K. A. Prabhakaran as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of its DET business.
Prabhakaran is an accomplished engineering and R&D leader with over 30 years of experience. He joins Cyient from Honeywell, where he served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the Process Solutions group, driving technology innovation and customer-centric solutions worldwide. Previously based in Houston, Texas, he will now be based in Bengaluru, India.
An expert in digital transformation, product and process innovation, and global research partnerships, Prabhakaran has led large teams across multiple industries, including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, and Renewable Energy. His deep expertise in avionics technology solutions for large OEMs aligns with Cyient’s strategic focus areas.
As Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Prabhakaran will drive Cyient’s technological vision, spearheading the development of market-ready solutions that enhance competitiveness and foster innovation. His role will be pivotal in expanding Cyient’s technology footprint, building future-ready competencies, and seeding new capabilities across the organization.
