Dallas, Texas, United States – November 2024 – Karen Sloan has joined RQI Partners, LLC as Vice President of Human Resources, where she will lead the company’s HR initiatives to support its mission of saving lives through high-quality resuscitation solutions. Karen expressed her excitement about joining an organization committed to this important cause.
Karen brings over a decade of strategic HR leadership to her new role at RQI Partners. Most recently, she served as HR Consultant and Founder at Sloan HR Consulting LLC, where she provided HR solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, helping them build effective HR functions and thrive in their industries.
Before establishing her consultancy, Karen was the inaugural Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at SET SEG. During her tenure, she led transformative HR strategies, including developing a comprehensive talent development program that enhanced employee engagement and reduced turnover. Her leadership in creating an employee-focused culture and implementing effective onboarding processes made a significant impact on the organization’s growth.
Karen’s career also includes a role as Director of Human Resources – Information Technology at the University of Michigan, where she oversaw HR strategies for a large-scale IT organization. She led HR initiatives through complex workforce transformations, supporting employee development and DEI efforts, and effectively implementing an HR Business Partner model.
