Geneva, Switzerland, November 2025 – Karolina Cardoso has joined Givaudan as Global Head of Reward, leading the organisation’s Global Reward Centre of Excellence. Nearly a decade after first engaging with Givaudan as a consultant, she steps into this pivotal role inspired by the company’s distinctive culture and shared sense of purpose. As she takes on this mandate, she aims to help shape an environment where people can thrive and contribute to creating healthier and happier lives worldwide.
Karolina most recently served at Galderma, where she held multiple senior leadership positions including Global Head of Total Reward, Global Head of Compensation, and Group Total Reward Senior Program Manager. Over nearly five years, she played a central role in reshaping Total Rewards and Recognition programs, building a Global Reward Centre of Excellence, leading executive compensation practices, managing reward projects across transactions and transformation initiatives, and enabling the organisation’s transition through carve-out, growth, and IPO.
Prior to Galderma, Karolina gained significant strategic and transformation experience at EY, where she served as Senior Manager in Change & Learning, Senior Manager in HR Transformation Programs, and earlier as Total Reward Project Manager. At EY, she led People & Change teams across global business services implementation, post-merger integration, operational model transitions, and HR transformation programs, with a strong sector focus across Life Sciences, Chemicals, and Consumer Products.
Before EY, Karolina spent over four years at Aon, serving first as Reward Consultant and later as Talent & Reward Project Manager. She managed compensation benchmarking, HR due diligence, post-merger integration, Total Reward strategy, and multiple compensation surveys across Switzerland and Italy, including partnership-driven reward studies for global trading and shipping organisations.
Her earlier experience includes roles in organisational development at Bematech as Organizational Development Coordinator, and at Kraft Foods (now Mondelēz International) as Organizational Development Specialist, where she contributed to talent development, performance evaluation cycles, corporate learning plans, and competency model development.
