Rice takes on this role as Encompass Health continues to expand its rehabilitation services across the United States, aiming to deliver top-notch care for patients recovering from major injuries or illnesses.
Rice, an accomplished healthcare leader, brings a wealth of experience from her prior roles in the healthcare sector. She is also the Founder and CEO of Regency Surgical Consultants, LLC, a company specializing in outpatient surgical services. During her tenure, she managed strategic planning, policy review, talent acquisition, and readiness projects, helping the organization grow in scope and reputation.
Before Regency, Rice served as Regional Director of Operations at Azura Vascular Care (Fresenius), where she oversaw Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) across several U.S. states, focusing on performance improvement, corporate strategy, and accreditation. Additionally, Rice has held leadership roles at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital and Gwinnett Surgery Center, where she led multi-specialty teams in surgery centers, including teaching facilities.
With a strong belief in objectives-based leadership and a focus on strategic initiatives, Rice brings over two decades of healthcare leadership expertise to Encompass Health. She has a proven track record in operations management, people development, and performance improvement.
