Dallas, Texas, United States, July 2025 – Kavitha Premkumar has taken on the role of Senior Director, Global Staff Payroll at Magnit, a global leader in contingent workforce management. In this key leadership position, Kavitha will oversee the global payroll function, bringing her extensive experience and operational excellence to elevate payroll systems and compliance at scale.
Prior to this, Kavitha served as Vice President, Americas People Operations at CBRE, where she spent nearly four years leading major HR service operations across regions. She also served as Director, HR Shared Services at USAA, a Fortune 100 company known for its excellence in financial services, and before that, she was with Marathon Petroleum Corporation as Senior Manager, HR Shared Services, contributing to HR transformation in one of the largest petroleum refining companies in the U.S.
Kavitha’s earlier career includes a significant tenure at Red Bull, where she served as Senior Manager, Payroll, managing operations across seven U.S. entities and aligning global expatriate policies. Her career in payroll and HR operations spans over two decades, including leadership roles at Ventura Foods, UniNet Imaging Inc, Citent Inc, and Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited, where she began her journey in the payroll domain.
In addition to her corporate leadership, Kavitha also lends her expertise as an Advisory Network Member at ChangeEngine, helping HR tech platforms enhance employee engagement through lifecycle-aligned communication.
