Glassboro, NJ, USA – Rowan University has appointed Keith Burkhardt as the new Senior Director of Human Resources. Burkhardt will bring extensive experience and leadership in human resources management to the university’s team in Glassboro, New Jersey.
Career Journey of Keith Burkhardt
Before his new role at Rowan University, Burkhardt served as the Director of Human Resources at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine from December 2022 to April 2024. During this time, he led significant HR initiatives that supported the faculty and staff at the university’s medical school in Stratford, NJ, enhancing organizational effectiveness and promoting strategic HR practices.
Prior to this, he was the Manager of Human Resources at the same institution from January 2021 to December 2022, where he implemented key HR operations and developed effective policies that significantly contributed to the operational success of the school.
Keith Burkhardt also held the role of Human Resources Manager/Practice Manager at HCR ManorCare – Heartland Hospice from November 2016 to January 2021. In this position, he managed HR practices that supported employee relations and service delivery within the hospice environment, ensuring compliance and enhancing employee engagement.
Before joining HCR ManorCare, Burkhardt was the Operations Manager at Halo Health/Medical Media Solutions, where he led operations and strategic initiatives from October 2011 to November 2016 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
