Khaled El Dokani Appointed as CEO of Lafarge Egypt

Cairo, Egypt, February 2025 – Lafarge Egypt, a subsidiary of Holcim, has appointed Khaled El Dokani as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Bringing over 21 years of leadership experience across multiple markets, Khaled has successfully led Holcim’s operations in Nigeria, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Oman. His expertise in business transformation and green growth will be instrumental in driving Lafarge Egypt’s sustainable construction initiatives and market expansion.

Before joining Lafarge Egypt, Khaled El Dokani was the CEO of Holcim GCC, overseeing operations across the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. He played a critical role in advancing sustainability goals, optimizing business efficiency, and expanding Holcim’s presence in the Gulf region.

Prior to that, Khaled served as CEO of Lafarge Africa Plc in Nigeria, where he led strategic restructuring and market growth initiatives. His leadership was key in strengthening Lafarge’s position in West Africa and driving innovation in cement and construction solutions.

His previous roles include serving as Country CEO for LafargeHolcim in Iraq and Qatar, where he played a pivotal role in modernizing operations and integrating digital advancements in construction solutions. Khaled also held leadership positions in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and other key markets, contributing significantly to Holcim’s global expansion and financial performance.
