Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2025 — Kiran Desai has joined NTT DATA as Global Head – Offer Management and Platform within the Technology Solutions business. In this strategic leadership role, Kiran will be instrumental in transforming and scaling the company’s global offerings by driving innovation, automation, and platform-led growth across markets.
Kiran’s appointment comes as NTT DATA, a global IT powerhouse, continues to invest in industry-leading technology services to accelerate client transformation journeys. Known for its consulting depth and integration expertise, the company ranks among the most innovative system integrators globally. Kiran joins a team committed to reshaping enterprise success through responsible automation, AI, and collaborative delivery models.
Prior to this, Kiran served as Executive Vice President and Head of Cloud Business at Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), where he led cloud transformation initiatives and secured India’s largest hybrid and private cloud deals. His leadership was pivotal in shaping cloud products and platform strategies aligned to evolving enterprise demands.
Earlier, Kiran spent over two decades at Wipro, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President and Global Head – Cloud & Infrastructure Services. There, he led a 30,000+ strong global workforce, established the cloud practice, and consistently delivered high growth, enhanced customer satisfaction, and industry recognition, including consecutive leadership positions in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. He also played a key role in building AI-driven platforms like Wipro HOLMES and structuring global delivery governance with the Delivery Maturity Index (DMI).
Kiran began his career with sales and delivery leadership roles at Unicorp and Modi Olivetti, focusing on enterprise IT and infrastructure services.
He holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai.
