India, August 2026 — ANDRITZ Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Kirtiraj Jilkar as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO). In his new role, Jilkar will lead the company’s strategic direction, business growth, operational excellence, and continued expansion across its diversified engineering and industrial technology businesses in India.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience in engineering, EPC, energy, industrial solutions, and business management, Kirtiraj Jilkar brings a proven track record of driving large-scale operations, executing complex projects, and delivering sustainable business growth. Throughout his career, he has successfully led business transformation initiatives while building high-performing teams and strengthening operational capabilities.
Prior to joining ANDRITZ Technologies India, Jilkar spent over three decades at Thermax Limited, where he held several senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Business Head, driving strategic business growth, while also serving as Executive Vice President. Earlier, he led EPC Operations, overseeing large-scale project implementation with a strong focus on on-time delivery, cost optimisation, quality, and performance. He also served as General Manager, leading the company’s Operations & Maintenance Services and Solar PV business, further strengthening Thermax’s capabilities across industrial and sustainable energy solutions.
Jilkar’s strong technical and business leadership is complemented by his academic credentials. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology and has completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education, equipping him with advanced expertise in strategic leadership, business management, and cross-functional execution.
As Managing Director and CEO, Jilkar will oversee ANDRITZ Technologies India’s continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence while strengthening its position as a trusted engineering and technology partner across key industrial sectors.
