California, United States, December 2024 – Krish K. has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Vesper Energy, a leading renewable energy and energy storage company. In his new role, Krish will oversee financial operations, strategy, and capital management, contributing to Vesper Energy’s mission of advancing a sustainable, decarbonized future.
Krish brings over two decades of experience in corporate finance, renewable energy, and strategic leadership. Before joining Vesper Energy, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at esVolta, LP, where he led capital raising efforts exceeding $750 million, oversaw corporate and project finance operations, and successfully scaled the finance team from 2 to 22 members. He also played a pivotal role in achieving a lucrative exit for esVolta’s seed investors.

Prior to esVolta, Krish held leadership roles at NRG Energy, including VP, Assistant Treasurer, where he managed large-scale financings for renewable and thermal projects exceeding $1.5 billion and oversaw treasury operations. He also served as Managing Director of Finance at Edison Mission Energy, leading capital-raising activities totaling $2.5 billion and supporting the company’s Chapter 11 restructuring.
Krish’s early career includes key roles at InterGen, WestLB, and Shell Trading, where he gained extensive experience in project valuation, treasury management, and structuring complex financial transactions.
