Lottie Damen Appointed as Chief People & Culture at Kenter Groendus

Netherlands, April 2026 – Kenter Groendus has announced the appointment of Lottie Damen as Chief People & Culture, marking a significant step in strengthening its people strategy and organizational culture as the company accelerates its growth in the sustainable energy space.

In this role, Lottie Damen will lead the people and culture agenda, focusing on creating an environment where employees can thrive, collaborate effectively, and contribute to the organization’s long-term ambitions. Her mandate includes overseeing HR advisory, operations, compensation, learning & development, culture, and recruitment to enable a high-performing and future-ready workforce.

Prior to joining Kenter Groendus, Lottie Damen held multiple leadership roles at ENGIE over nearly seven years. Most recently, she served as Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – ENGIE Europe, where she was responsible for shaping and implementing DEI strategies across multiple European markets.

Earlier, she was Country HR Director – Netherlands at ENGIE, where she led HR and facility functions, supporting global business units and driving long-term people strategies. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in launching strategic initiatives focused on employee engagement, leadership development, and building a unified organizational culture.

Before ENGIE, she spent over six years with Coöperatie VGZ, where she held roles including Manager HR & Agile Coach, leading talent programs and enabling high-performing, self-organizing teams.

She also held key HR roles at Ziut and Delta Lloyd, building strong foundations in HR business partnering, talent development, and organizational transformation.

With over two decades of experience, Lottie Damen brings deep expertise in HR strategy, culture transformation, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, making her well-positioned to drive the next phase of growth at Kenter Groendus.
