Geneva, Switzerland, April 2025 – Magdalena (Luiza) Skorupa has taken on the role of Chief Information Security Officer at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where she will spearhead the organization’s global cybersecurity strategy. In this mission-driven role, she will be responsible for protecting digital operations and sensitive data while supporting the secure delivery of life-saving vaccines to children in lower-income countries across the world.
Prior to joining Gavi, Magdalena served as Global Technology & Security Director – Digital Workplace at Reckitt, where she provided strategic leadership in cybersecurity, operational risk, and digital transformation. Across her six-year journey at Reckitt, she held various critical roles including Cyber Director, IT Risk, Data Privacy, Validation & Compliance, and Global IT&D Director for Data & Analytics, positioning cybersecurity as a pillar of the company’s digital evolution.
Magdalena is also the President of the ISC2 Chapter in Poland, a role she has held for nearly six years, advocating for the advancement of cybersecurity awareness, standards, and collaboration across the region. In parallel, she contributes as a Gartner Peer Community Ambassador, sharing her insights and experience to shape thought leadership in enterprise risk and security management.
She is the Founder and CEO of Amaterasu Group, where she has delivered global consulting services in cybersecurity, business process design, and culture transformation. Magdalena also previously spent over a decade at Honeywell, rising to the role of Global Security Director and Cyber Security Service Owner, where she led enterprise-wide initiatives in endpoint security, vulnerability management, and governance.
Earlier in her career, Magdalena held audit and compliance leadership positions at Lhoist, Philips, and Arthur Andersen, establishing a foundation of risk-based decision-making and business integrity. She holds an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School, London.
