Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India, April 2026 — Major Arunima Sehgal has joined JSW Energy as Plant HR Head, AGM – Human Resources, based at the Kutehr Hydropower Plant.
In her new role, Major Arunima Sehgal will lead plant HR priorities, supporting people management, workforce engagement, HR operations, leadership capability, and business-aligned human resources practices at the hydropower plant.
Before joining JSW Energy, Arunima worked as a Consultant at Volvo Group in Bengaluru. Prior to that, she took a career break focused on full-time parenting.
Earlier, Arunima served with the Indian Army for more than 11 years, holding roles including Instructor and Army Officer. Her Army career helped her build deep experience in leadership, people management, discipline, operations, supply chain management, and training.
Before joining the Indian Army, Arunima worked as a Lawyer in Jammu. She has also completed a General Management Program in Business, Management & Human Resources from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
