Gurugram, Haryana, India, June 2026 — Mamta Varma has joined DLF Hospitality as General Manager – Learning & Development. In her new role, she will lead learning, capability development, and talent growth initiatives across DLF Hospitality’s diverse portfolio of hospitality, lifestyle, wellness, dining, and luxury club businesses. Her appointment reinforces the organization’s commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences through people excellence and continuous learning.
Prior to joining DLF Hospitality, Mamta Varma served as Head – Loyalty, Learning & Development at EHV International, where she led initiatives focused on customer loyalty, employee capability building, and organizational development. Her role involved strengthening talent frameworks and enhancing learning ecosystems to support business growth and service excellence.
Before EHV International, she was Head – Capability Development at Zomato, where she played a key role in driving learning and development initiatives across the organization. She was responsible for building capabilities, enhancing employee effectiveness, and supporting the development of talent strategies in one of India’s leading technology-driven consumer brands.
Earlier, Mamta Varma worked as General Manager – Client Delivery and Consultant at BigSpring, where she partnered with clients to deliver learning and performance solutions. She also served as Assistant Director – Food and Beverage at the Indian School of Hospitality, where she contributed to hospitality education, operational excellence, and talent development for future hospitality professionals.
A substantial portion of her career was spent with some of the world’s most respected hospitality brands. At Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, she served as Senior Manager – Training at Trident, Bandra Kurla, Mumbai, and earlier held operational leadership roles as Assistant Manager Front Office and Assistant Manager Food & Beverage. She also worked as Training Manager at The Leela Palace New Delhi and spent more than five years with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as Training Manager, where she was responsible for developing hospitality talent and driving service excellence programs.
Throughout her professional journey spanning hospitality operations, training, learning and development, capability building, loyalty programs, and talent management, Mamta Varma has established herself as a respected learning leader with extensive experience in developing people, strengthening organizational capabilities, and creating high-performance service cultures.
