Saudi Arabia, January 2025 – Manahel Bugis has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at Petrolube Oil Company KSA, the leading independent lubricants producer in Saudi Arabia. With extensive expertise in strategic human resources management, Manahel will lead Petrolube’s HR initiatives, focusing on recruitment, talent management, workforce planning, and diversity, among other critical areas.
In her new role, Manahel is tasked with overseeing HR operations across Petrolube’s 900 employees, distributed across three production plants in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt. Her leadership will drive initiatives to enhance the company’s talent acquisition, learning and development programs, and HR analytics, aligning them with Petrolube’s mission of delivering high-quality and sustainable lubricants.
Manahel Bugis brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Prior to joining Petrolube Oil Company KSA, Manahel served as HR Director at Thales, where she led human resources strategy across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Central Asia for over six years. She successfully aligned business objectives with employee management while ensuring compliance with local and international HR policies. Her tenure was marked by strategic workforce planning, organizational restructuring, and fostering employee development.
Before Thales, Manahel contributed to GE Healthcare as Employee HR Manager, focusing on employee engagement, performance management, and talent acquisition. She also held a pivotal role as Global Talent Recruitment Specialist for GE Corporate, where she streamlined recruitment processes and executed proactive talent acquisition strategies.
Her earlier career includes notable roles at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), where she gained extensive experience in recruitment and HR operations, and Abdul Latif Jameel Co., where she managed support services and procurement, further honing her leadership skills.
