Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2026 — Biological E. Limited (BE) has appointed Manishkumar Munot as Chief Business Officer – Vaccines. In this role, he will lead the company’s vaccines business across India and global markets, including Europe and the United States, driving commercial excellence, strategic partnerships, and sustainable business growth.
Manishkumar brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry, with deep expertise spanning global marketing, commercial strategy, business development, and general management. Prior to joining Biological E. Limited, he spent over 10 years at GSK, where he held several senior leadership positions across multiple geographies. Most recently, he served as Senior Director – Marketing, Meningitis Vaccine Portfolio (USA). Earlier, he was President Director & General Manager, GSK Indonesia, leading the company’s operations in Indonesia. He also served as Senior Global Marketing Director – Meningitis Vaccine Portfolio, Business Unit Head – Vaccines & Consumer Healthcare Products (CEP), Belgium & Luxembourg, Head of Marketing – Vaccines, CEP & MCM and Commercial Operations Manager, Vaccines Marketing Lead & Commercial Operations Manager, and General Manager – Marketing & Business Development in India, building extensive experience in global vaccine commercialization and business leadership.
During his tenure at GSK, Manishkumar also served as a Board Member and Sponsor for the Regulatory Working Group at the International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group (Indonesia), contributing to industry collaboration and regulatory initiatives.
Before GSK, Manishkumar held leadership positions at Novartis Vaccines, where he served as Head – Marketing & Business Development, managing a portfolio that included Rabipur, Quinvaxem, and Agrippal. Earlier, he was Head Marketing at Abbott Diabetes Care, Marketing Manager – International Vaccine Business (ROW & Emerging Markets) at Panacea Biotec Ltd., Franchise Head – Pediatrics at Chiron (Novartis) Panacea Vaccines, Senior Product Manager at Novo Nordisk, Product Manager at Shreya Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd., Business Developer/Institutional Manager/Task Force at Abbott, and began his career as a Medical Representative at Kopran Limited.
Manishkumar has also pursued executive leadership education from globally renowned institutions. He completed the Leadership & Management Certificate Program at The Wharton School (2019–2020), earned an Executive MBA in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (2010–2011), where he secured 11th Rank All India, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM) from the Welingkar Institute of Management.
