Bangalore, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Manoj Gopalakrishnan Nair has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at NextGen Pathways, where he will lead the company’s human capital strategy and drive transformative people initiatives aligned with its mission of empowering organizations and individuals through holistic HR and skill development solutions. In his new role, Manoj will oversee HR strategy, talent acquisition, learning and development, total rewards, diversity and inclusion, and organizational culture transformation to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Prior to joining NextGen Pathways, Manoj Gopalakrishnan Nair served as Head – HR Operations (Total Rewards, Compliance & Global Payroll) at Technicolor Group, where he led global HR operations across multiple geographies. He managed end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, global payroll, and compliance frameworks while ensuring seamless policy alignment across regions. Manoj also spearheaded the formation of the Grievance Redressal Committee as Chairperson, promoting transparency and regulatory adherence across the organization.
Before his tenure at Technicolor, Manoj worked with HSBC as HR Manager, overseeing payroll operations for over 26,000 employees at HSBC Electronic Data Processing India Pvt. Ltd. His responsibilities included audit and compliance management, benefit administration, and vendor partnerships, leading to significant improvements in process efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Earlier, he spent nearly five years at Bank of America, where he managed payroll for 18,000+ employees, implemented automation initiatives, and strengthened statutory compliance and benefit administration processes. His strategic focus on operational excellence contributed to the successful streamlining of HR service delivery across multiple business units.
Manoj began his HR career with Global ProServ Ltd. (a subsidiary of GTL Ltd.), where he gained extensive experience in HR operations, project management, and workforce development. Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in building scalable HR systems, process digitization, and employee experience enhancement.
Manoj Gopalakrishnan Nair holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier business schools.
