Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 – Hind Rectifiers Ltd (Hirect), a pioneering force in power semiconductors, electronic equipment, and railway transportation systems, has announced the appointment of Mr. Manoj Nair as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). In his new role, Mr. Nair will lead Hirect’s strategic growth initiatives, driving innovation, operational excellence, and expansion across its diverse business verticals.
With over three decades of leadership experience in manufacturing, power, and infrastructure, Mr. Manoj Nair has a distinguished record of leading business transformation and fostering sustainable growth in global organizations.
Before joining Hind Rectifiers, he served as Chief Executive Officer at IIMS Limited (CK Birla Group), where he successfully led the company’s business strategy, operational transformation, and market expansion. His leadership was marked by a focus on efficiency, customer-centric innovation, and building a high-performance culture.
Prior to that, Mr. Nair had a long and impactful tenure with Cummins India Ltd, where he held several senior roles including Vice President – Power Generation Business, Director – Projects Business, and Director – Industrial Business. Over his seven years with Cummins, he was responsible for key verticals such as rail, marine, mining, oil & gas, defense, and pumps, contributing significantly to Cummins’ market leadership and innovation in the energy and industrial segments.
Earlier in his career, he worked with IDEX Corporation as Business Line Director and Director – India Commercial Organization, where he managed P&L operations for the Fluid & Metering Technologies group, spearheading expansion across India and West Asia. He also held leadership positions in Chicago Pneumatic, where he began his journey in manufacturing and sales, gaining foundational experience in engineering operations and industrial solutions.
Throughout his extensive career, Mr. Nair has been recognized for his visionary leadership, cross-functional acumen, and ability to integrate business strategy with technology-led transformation.
