Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area, United States – October 2024 – Maria Hernandez has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), North America at Scan Global Logistics. In her new role, Maria will oversee all HR functions for the North American region, driving talent management, strategic HR initiatives, and organizational development to support the company’s growth and culture.
Maria Hernandez brings extensive experience in HR leadership across diverse industries. Prior to joining Scan Global Logistics, she was the VP, Regional Head of Human Resources, Americas Region at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, where she led HR strategies for nearly seven years, focusing on change management, talent management, and organizational development across the Americas.
Before her tenure at Hellmann, Maria was the Director of Human Resources at Lennar, where she managed strategic HR initiatives, employee relations, and talent development. Her experience also includes serving as Senior Director of Human Resources at Benihana, where she was responsible for HR leadership, planning, and operations.
Maria’s early career includes HR roles at AGL Resources, NUI Corporation, and Domino’s Pizza, where she contributed to HR management, operations effectiveness, and talent acquisition, demonstrating her ability to lead and align HR strategies with business goals.
