Davidson County, North Carolina, United States, July 2025 – Mary Matychak has joined Ingersoll Rand as Vice President, Human Resources. In her new role, she will serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team of the Ingersoll Rand Life Sciences business and play a key role in driving people strategies that support both organic and inorganic growth. Her focus areas will include talent development, engagement, inclusion, organizational effectiveness, and culture enhancement.
Before joining Ingersoll Rand, Mary spent over 12 years at AMETEK, where she most recently served as Vice President, Human Resources – Aerospace & Defense Division. In this capacity, she was hand-picked by C-suite leadership to drive HR transformation, lead post-M&A cultural integrations, recruit executive talent, and align HR functions with corporate priorities across global locations in the US, UK, EU, and Asia.
Prior to her elevated role, she served in another long-term assignment within AMETEK’s Aerospace & Defense division, where she led HR operations for 1,500 employees across 16 global sites. She was instrumental in harmonizing HR practices, integrating SuccessFactors HRIS, leading major restructurings, and significantly improving employee engagement and leadership development across the group.
Earlier in her career, Mary held leadership positions at Parexel, TomTom (Tele Atlas), Guardian Industries, and Bausch & Lomb, contributing to strategic HR functions ranging from talent strategy, global realignment, and M&A workforce integration to compensation harmonization and ISO/TS certification support.
Mary holds an MBA in International Strategy from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
