His career includes leadership roles across financial services, technology, healthcare, insurance, and media organizations.

Prior to joining Mastercard, Fripp served as Human Resources Business Partner Leader at Liberty Bank, reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, he partnered with executive leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, establish talent and culture best practices, lead organizational design initiatives, and implement people strategies aligned with business growth objectives.

Before Liberty Bank, he served as Vice President Human Resources at Westfield, where he provided strategic HR leadership across global technology, finance, and actuarial functions. During his tenure, he led workforce planning initiatives, organizational redesign efforts, succession planning programs, and major change management initiatives supporting enterprise transformation.

Earlier, Fripp held the position of Chief People Officer at DataStax, where he led the company’s global HR function, overseeing HR business partnering, talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion, employee relations, and HR operations. He played a key role in evolving the organization’s people operating model and supporting international business growth across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

A significant portion of Fripp’s career was spent with Cigna, where he held multiple senior leadership positions over nearly thirteen years, including Human Resource Officer, Director of Human Resources – Global Finance, Director of Early Career Hiring, and Senior HR Manager, Internal Consulting Group. Earlier in his career, Fripp held leadership roles with Citigroup and Latina Media Ventures, building expertise in executive recruitment, talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational development, and business operations.

Fripp holds a Master of Science (MS) in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, providing a strong academic foundation for his extensive career in human capital leadership and organizational effectiveness.

Fripp’s appointment is expected to strengthen Mastercard’s people and capability agenda by enhancing leadership development, workforce planning, talent strategies, and organizational effectiveness initiatives that support the company’s continued expansion and innovation across global markets.
