Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, August 2025 – Matt Cutrone has been appointed as Vice President, Human Resources, Life Science Group at ATS Corporation, a global leader in advanced automation solutions. In his new role, he will oversee the HR strategy and talent agenda for ATS’ Life Science Group, supporting its mission to drive innovation and operational excellence in the global life sciences manufacturing sector.
Prior to joining ATS, Matt Cutrone served at Sealed Air Corporation for over eight years, holding progressive HR leadership roles. Most recently, he was Vice President of Human Resources, Global Protective, where he led global HR strategy for the company’s protective packaging business. Earlier, as Vice President, Americas HR, he drove HR operations and organizational capability across North and South America. He also served as Executive Director, Americas HR, where he focused on building strong talent pipelines, driving culture initiatives, and enabling business transformation across the region.
Before Sealed Air, Matt spent more than five years at United Technologies, where he held several strategic roles across multiple geographies. These included Sr. Human Resources Manager in Charlotte, HR Business Partner for the Auxiliary Power Unit division in San Diego, Industrial Relations Manager for Connecticut operations, and HR Manager for Singapore Aftermarket Operations. Across these roles, he led cross-cultural teams and supported both unionized and non-unionized environments, gaining valuable global exposure and operational HR expertise.
Earlier in his career, he held HR leadership positions in the hospitality and financial services sectors, including six years as Human Resources Manager at Pinehurst Resort, and a year as Human Resources Specialist at Fidelity Investments. These foundational experiences strengthened his capabilities in employee engagement, service excellence, and HR operations in complex service environments.
Matt Cutrone holds a Masters in Global Business, Human Resources from the University of Hertfordshire, and an International MBA in Strategic Business Management from HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences. His dual international postgraduate degrees have equipped him with a strong foundation in global business strategy, intercultural leadership, and human capital management.
