Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2026 — Meenakshi Shekharan has joined Hitachi Energy as Executive Talent Acquisition Partner – Asia Pacific. In her new role, she will lead the successful global execution of executive search projects for key leadership roles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and talent priorities.
Before joining Hitachi Energy, Meenakshi spent nearly seven years with GE Vernova, most recently serving as Talent Acquisition Partner (Engineering & Technology) – India. During her tenure, she managed engineering hiring initiatives across multiple business groups, led talent acquisition programs for grid solutions and hydropower businesses, and drove initiatives related to diversity hiring, recruitment analytics, stakeholder management, process simplification, and global talent advisory.
She also played a key role in optimizing recruitment operations through Workday expertise, mentoring teams and HR stakeholders on end-to-end recruitment processes, and implementing leaner hiring practices to improve turnaround times.
Earlier, Meenakshi worked with GE as Senior Associate – Talent Acquisition, where she handled talent acquisition for Grid Solutions, hybrid and hydro energy businesses across India. Her responsibilities included high-volume hiring, ATS management, market mapping, stakeholder engagement, and recruitment analytics. She was also recognized among the best recruiters at the PAN India level for leading engineering and sales hiring initiatives.
Prior to GE, she served as Consultant – Renewable Energy (Solar & Wind) at RGF Select India (Recruit Holdings, Japan), where she managed mid-level to executive hiring mandates across the power, energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors. Her earlier experience also includes recruitment and engineering consulting roles with GreenTree Advisory Services Pvt Ltd and MASPRO Consultants.
