Boca Raton, Florida, United States, May 2026 – Johnson Controls has appointed Markus Enzner as Vice President Global Rewards & Performance, strengthening its global people leadership as the company continues to advance its focus on high-performance culture, workforce transformation, and data-driven people strategies.
In his new role, Markus Enzner will lead global rewards and performance initiatives, leveraging his extensive expertise across compensation, HR transformation, shared services, analytics, and organizational performance management.
Prior to rejoining Johnson Controls in this leadership role, Markus Enzner served as Vice President Total Rewards Americas & Head of Global Rewards LHH at The Adecco Group, where he led strategic global rewards initiatives and total rewards transformation programs.
Earlier, he spent over a decade with Johnson Controls across multiple senior leadership roles. As Executive Director HR Operations, he spearheaded the establishment of a global shared services organization with over 400 employees and led the creation of a global HR business center in India while driving AI-enabled HR transformation and operational excellence initiatives. He also served as Executive Director Total Rewards, where he led the implementation of the company’s “High Performance Culture” initiative through Workday-enabled transformation and supported major strategic transactions including the Power Solutions business divestiture.
His earlier leadership assignments at Johnson Controls included Senior Director Total Rewards Operations & Compensation Global Programs, Senior Director Regional Compensation & Benefits Americas & EMEA, and Director CoE Compensation & Benefits EMEA, where he led large-scale rewards harmonization, M&A integration, global grading programs, shared services optimization, and enterprise-wide compensation transformation initiatives impacting tens of thousands of employees globally.
Before Johnson Controls, Markus Enzner held compensation and HR transformation leadership roles with DHL Group, McDonald’s Corporation, Bombardier Transportation, and Qimonda, building extensive expertise across executive compensation, performance management, HR operating models, global grading architecture, and rewards governance.
