Mehak Jaini Joins McDonald’s as Head of Marketing

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Mehak Jaini has joined McDonald’s as Head of Marketing, taking on responsibility for leading the brand’s marketing strategy, consumer engagement, brand growth, and integrated marketing initiatives. In her new role, she will focus on strengthening McDonald’s market presence and enhancing the customer experience across India.

Mehak brings extensive expertise across brand strategy, consumer insights, brand equity, integrated communications, digital marketing, creative strategy, and business growth. Her appointment brings together deep agency-side strategic experience and senior brand leadership across the FMCG and consumer sectors.

Before joining McDonald’s, Mehak worked with Godrej Consumer Products Limited for over two years. Most recently, she served as Global Brand Equity Lead – Personal Care & Global Effectiveness, driving brand strategy and marketing effectiveness across multiple personal-care brands and international markets. Earlier, as Global Brand Equity Lead – Hair & Air, she supported global brand-building initiatives across the hair-colour and air-care portfolios.

Prior to Godrej Consumer Products Limited, Mehak spent nearly 16 years with DDB Mudra Group, progressing through several senior strategy and account-planning positions. As National Strategy Head – 22feet Tribal Worldwide and Vice President – Strategy, she shaped the group’s digital strategy practice, supported talent development, anchored strategy for major client businesses, and contributed to the agency’s new-business agenda.

During her long tenure at DDB Mudra Group, she also served as Vice President, Vice President – Strategy, Senior Strategy Director, Director – Account Planning, Manager – Account Planning, and Executive – Account Planning. She led strategy and planning assignments for prominent brands across FMCG, retail, media, technology, financial services, and quick-service restaurants, including previous work on the McDonald’s account.

Mehak began her career with L’Oréal as a Management Intern, where she developed an effectiveness matrix for consumer promotions for L’Oréal Paris Make Up, establishing an early foundation in consumer marketing and brand strategy.
