Greater Pittsburgh Region, Pennsylvania, United States, July 2024 – Melissa Bihary has taken on the role of Chief People Officer at Pathstone. In this new position, Melissa will oversee the human resources strategies and initiatives for the organization, leveraging her extensive experience in human capital management to drive growth and development within Pathstone’s workforce.
Melissa brings a wealth of experience to Pathstone, having previously served as Chief People Officer at Calderys. There, she led the global human capital strategy for the newly combined Calderys and HWI business, which encompasses over 4,500 employees across more than 35 countries.
Prior to Calderys, Melissa was Vice President of People and Organizational Effectiveness at HarbisonWalker International. During her tenure, she reported directly to the CEO and was accountable for human capital and operational excellence across the global enterprise.
Before her role at HarbisonWalker International, Melissa was the Director of Talent at Dover Fluids for Dover Corporation. She managed organizational development, training, and succession planning for the Fluids division, overseeing 65 manufacturing locations and 8,200 employees.
Melissa also held significant roles at Kraft Heinz, where she led the HR function for North American technical operations. She was responsible for a team of 45 HR professionals supporting a client population in excess of 7,500 employees.
In addition to these roles, Melissa has amassed a rich career history including senior HR positions at GE Aviation, International Paper, and Ford Motor Company. At GE Aviation, she served as Global HR Manager, leading HR initiatives for 900 salaried employees across 28 global sites. Her earlier roles at International Paper and Ford Motor Company provided her with a strong foundation in HR management and leadership development.
