In her position, Mercedes will focus on driving growth, transformation, and inclusion across the organization, leveraging her extensive expertise in human resources, portfolio management, and social impact.
Mercedes joins McKinley Companies after her tenure at TIAA, where she held various leadership roles, including Vice President, HR Storefront Architect and Head of People Team PMO & Agile Evolution. During her time at TIAA, she spearheaded transformative initiatives in HR digital strategy and agile evolution, contributing significantly to the organization’s operational and cultural advancements.
Prior to TIAA, Mercedes was Project Director at Symphonic Strategies, where she worked on impactful social movement initiatives. She also co-founded Aguacate & Co. LLC, a boutique organic skincare business, showcasing her entrepreneurial acumen and leadership versatility.
Mercedes’s earlier experience includes her role as Financial Services Research Director at CEB, now Gartner, where she provided strategic insights to Fortune 500 organizations. Her portfolio included actionable analytics and advisory support for global financial services clients.
Additionally, Mercedes gained international exposure as an Independent Project Consultant with Datamonitor in London, further refining her expertise in global strategy and market analysis.
