Levallois-Perret, Île-de-France, France, September 2025 – Hogarth France, part of WPP, has announced the appointment of Michel Benhamou as Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Head of Content Studios. In his new role, Michel will lead operational excellence and oversee the creative and production studios, driving innovation and scalability in content delivery for the French market.
Most recently, Michel was Partner / Head of CTRL BRAND at Lonsdale Design, where he spent two years building and scaling CTRL BRAND, a division specializing in high-quality brand content at scale. Under his leadership, CTRL BRAND leveraged AI, automation, and advanced technology tools to deliver faster, more cost-effective content solutions while ensuring brand consistency across platforms.
Before that, Michel spent over six years at OLIVER Agency (The Brandtech Group) in a series of leadership roles, including Operations Director, Global Programme Director, Client Delivery Director, and Delivery Director. He was instrumental in launching the French subsidiary, scaling its operations despite global challenges, and leading client-facing teams for premier brands. His achievements included pioneering in-house agency models and driving digital transformation for clients across Europe.
Earlier, Michel held leadership positions at AKQA as Senior Project Manager, where he led high-profile projects like the Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 Watch, collaborating with Google and Intel, and at Havas Group as Senior Digital Project Manager, where he spearheaded award-winning digital campaigns such as the Durex dual-screen experience.
His career also includes roles at Betapond (now Stitcher Ads), Dachis Group, and KRDS, where he built teams from the ground up and delivered innovative social media and digital marketing solutions. He began his career with internships at Yves Rocher, Devispresto.com, Planet Nemo Animation, Grand Moulin, and Polyglot Group, before completing his Master in Entrepreneurship from ICN Business School.
With nearly two decades of international experience spanning digital transformation, brand content, technology-driven marketing, and operational leadership, Michel brings a unique blend of creativity and operational expertise to Hogarth.
