United States, September 2025 – Michelle Vidal has been appointed as Vice President, Talent Attraction Programs & Pipelines at Advocate Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health systems. In this newly elevated leadership role, Michelle will drive enterprise-wide strategies to attract and develop talent pipelines, with a focus on improving access, equity, and engagement across Advocate Health’s diverse footprint.
Prior to joining Advocate Health, Michelle Vidal served at Walmart for over six years, most recently as Head of Talent Acquisition for Walmart U.S. and earlier as Head of Talent Acquisition for Health & Wellness at both Walmart and Sam’s Club. In these roles, she was instrumental in designing recruitment strategies for one of the world’s largest employers, aligning hiring with operational scalability and health sector growth.
Michelle previously spent nearly eight years at HCA Healthcare, where she held multiple leadership roles including AVP, Talent Acquisition, National Director of Talent Acquisition Strategy & Transformation, and Director of Talent Acquisition for the West/North Florida Divisions. Her contributions significantly advanced recruitment transformation and talent acquisition performance at scale across one of the nation’s largest healthcare providers.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles in recruitment and sourcing at top RPO and consulting firms including WilsonHCG, PeopleScout, and The RightThing, Inc., and also served as Operations Manager at Spherion-RPO and Division Director at Robert Half. With over two decades of experience, Michelle has been at the forefront of talent acquisition innovation across healthcare, retail, and professional services.
