Prague, Czechia, July 2026 — Milan Štěpán has joined Heureka Group in the newly created role of Chief Marketing and Operations Officer (CMOO), marking an important leadership appointment for one of Central and Eastern Europe’s leading e-commerce and online shopping platforms.
In this newly established position, Milan will oversee marketing, operational excellence, business growth initiatives, and customer experience strategies across Heureka Group’s extensive regional footprint. His appointment reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its market leadership, accelerating innovation, and delivering enhanced value to consumers, e-commerce partners, and brands across multiple European markets.
Milan brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning e-commerce, digital transformation, technology management, operations, business development, and executive leadership. Prior to joining Heureka Group, he served as Chief Executive Officer of eKupi, where he led the company’s strategic growth and business operations in Croatia. During his tenure, he focused on strengthening market position, driving digital commerce initiatives, and enhancing customer engagement in a highly competitive retail environment.
Before eKupi, Milan worked as a Solutions Architect at Element Logic, helping organizations optimize business processes and technology solutions. Earlier, he held two separate tenures as Chief Technology Officer at CZC.cz, one of the Czech Republic’s leading electronics retailers. In these roles, he led web development, IT operations, business intelligence, and digital transformation initiatives, while implementing agile methodologies and modernizing technology infrastructure to support business growth.
His career also includes leadership positions at Sportisimo, where he served as Manager of Web Development, and at Internet Mall, where he held multiple roles including Backoffice Manager and Senior Business Manager, overseeing purchasing operations, international sourcing, SAP-driven transformation projects, and cross-border business initiatives. Earlier experiences with KASA.cz, GSMobile Group, Essox, AAA Auto, and Eurotel Praha helped build a strong foundation in commercial operations, sales leadership, customer engagement, and business management.
Throughout his professional journey, Milan has consistently demonstrated the ability to bridge technology, operations, and commercial strategy. His expertise in digital transformation, e-commerce operations, technology leadership, process optimization, and organizational growth positions him well to support Heureka Group’s continued expansion across Central and Eastern Europe.
