Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 — Mohit Sud has been appointed as the Group President – Unitary Cooling Products at Blue Star Limited, bringing with him over two decades of experience in consumer goods and business strategy. A Mechanical Engineer and an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, Mohit joins Blue Star from Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where he held several leadership roles in sales, marketing, and business development across India.
In his most recent role as Vice President – Premium Retail Organization (Beauty & Well Being) at HUL, Mohit was responsible for strategic growth in the premium segment. He played a key role in expanding the retail footprint and elevating consumer experiences in the Beauty & Well-Being category.
Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Marketing – Fabric Solutions, where he led brand strategy and marketing execution for some of India’s most recognized home care products. His tenure at HUL also included leadership roles as General Manager, Customer Development for Central India and Consumer Cluster Head for Tamil Nadu, where he was instrumental in driving regional sales performance and customer engagement.
Mohit began his professional journey as a Software Engineer at Infosys, before transitioning into consumer goods. His career at Unilever, which spanned more than 20 years, equipped him with a deep understanding of the Indian market, brand building, and cross-functional leadership. His appointment at Blue Star marks a strategic step in strengthening the company’s presence in the cooling products segment, both in residential and commercial spaces.
