Kolkata, West Bengal, India, August 2024 — Reliance Nippon Life Insurance has announced the promotion of Mousumi Roy Bose to the position of Vice President – ZHR. Mousumi, who has been with the company for nearly three years, will continue to handle end-to-end HR functions, further strengthening the HR strategies and practices across the organization.
Prior to this promotion, Mousumi served as Zonal HR – East at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, managing HR operations across 38 branches with over 700 employees. Her role involved developing People and Leadership strategies, advising senior management, and executing key HR initiatives.
Before joining Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, Mousumi was the Region HR Head – East at Exide Life Insurance, where she managed HR functions across 8 states, leading a team of 8 HR professionals. Her efforts included talent development, employee engagement, and streamlining HR processes.
Earlier in her career, Mousumi held the position of Zonal Manager – Human Resource at DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance, where she played a pivotal role in HR business partnering and leading zonal HR projects.
Mousumi’s extensive HR experience also includes roles at Max New York Life Insurance Company Limited, Reliance Capital Asset Management Limited – Mutual Funds, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited, and Hutch, where she demonstrated her expertise in business process leadership, branch operations, and customer service.
