Muhammad Umair Akram Khan Appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Unity Foods Limited

Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, September 2025 – Muhammad Umair Akram Khan has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Unity Foods Limited, marking a significant leadership milestone in his career. In this new position, he will lead the organization’s human capital strategy and transformation agenda, aligning people practices with Unity Foods’ expanding footprint in the agri-food and commodity sector.

Prior to joining Unity Foods Limited, Muhammad Umair Akram Khan had a distinguished tenure of over 12 years at National Foods Ltd. Pakistan, where he most recently served as Head of Human Resources. During this period, he was instrumental in driving people strategies that supported organizational growth, capability enhancement, and cultural transformation. His earlier roles at National Foods included HR Business Partner & Sales Capability Lead and Assistant HR Business Partner, reflecting a steady progression built on strategic HR alignment and business partnership.

Before joining the food industry, he spent over five years at Mobilink GSM (now Jazz), where he was Specialist – Training & Quality Assurance. In this role, he led training program design, TNA execution, quality analysis, and customer satisfaction measurement initiatives. He was also recognized for his expertise in process improvement and employee development, holding certifications in Train-the-Trainer and Change Acceleration.

Earlier in his career, Umair held leadership roles in customer care and sales management. As Team Lead at Mobilink’s Customer Care Center, and later Regional After Sales & Marketing Manager at Vincraft Pvt. Ltd., he led teams, enhanced service experience, and implemented strategies for dealer network expansion and customer engagement.

He began his professional journey as Team Lead – Call Center Systems at Pakistan Mobile Communications Ltd, where he monitored service quality and performance standards of call center agents, driving improvements in KPIs and customer satisfaction.
