Pune, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Pvt. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Mukund Dange as Associate Vice President – Strategic Purchasing. In his new role, he will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, procurement transformation, supplier partnerships, and supply chain strategies to support the company’s growth, operational excellence, and manufacturing capabilities.
Mukund brings more than two decades of leadership experience across strategic procurement, supply chain management, procurement governance, and operational transformation. Throughout his career, he has built a strong track record of driving cost optimization, strengthening supplier ecosystems, implementing sustainable sourcing practices, and delivering large-scale procurement efficiencies across manufacturing, automotive, engineering, and industrial sectors.
Prior to joining Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps, Mukund served as Head – Central Purchase and Supply Chain Management at CIE Automotive India Ltd., where he led the pan-India procurement strategy for the company’s Stamping Division across nine manufacturing facilities. He managed an annual procurement portfolio of approximately ₹1,000 crore, drove sourcing transformation initiatives, and established robust vendor governance frameworks while delivering substantial cost savings and improved ESG performance metrics.
Before this, he spent nearly seven years with Brakes India Private Limited as Senior General Manager (Purchase), leading strategic procurement for one of India’s largest auto-component foundries. Managing an annual spend of approximately ₹1,300 crore across five global foundries and a supplier network of over 300 vendors, he played a key role in aligning long-term sourcing strategies with business expansion plans and achieved significant cost savings through strategic negotiations and procurement optimization.
Mukund has also held leadership positions with CIE Automotive India Ltd., Walchandnagar Industries Limited, Ganges Internationale Pvt. Ltd., and Mattel, where he gained extensive expertise across procurement management, EPC and defense project sourcing, logistics, category management, imports, and international supply chain operations across India and Southeast Asia.
His appointment reflects Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps’ continued focus on strengthening its strategic purchasing capabilities and building a resilient, future-ready supply chain that supports innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.
