Istanbul, Türkiye – November 2024 – Murat Düzgün has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Papel, where he will oversee HR strategies, foster organizational growth, and support Papel’s mission to redefine financial services in Türkiye. His expertise in HR management and strategic planning will be pivotal in aligning Papel’s HR operations with its innovative financial solutions.
Prior to joining Papel, Murat served as a Chief Human Resources Officer in a freelance capacity, where he provided HR consulting services and advised on talent management and organizational effectiveness. His experience in this role further honed his strategic HR capabilities across various industries, contributing to business transformation and efficiency.
Murat’s previous role as CHRO at Param saw him oversee HR operations, including employee engagement, recruitment, and compliance. His leadership at Param helped shape the company’s HR framework, strengthening its reputation as a dynamic organization in Türkiye’s financial technology space.
Before his tenure at Param, Murat spent a decade at Odeabank as HR Director, responsible for a comprehensive range of HR functions including talent acquisition, employer branding, change management, and performance management. His contributions were key to fostering a strong organizational culture and ensuring employee alignment with business goals.
Murat began his HR career at HSBC as Head of Performance & Reward. During his 11 years there, he managed a team focused on performance management, compensation and benefits, and expatriate management, among other responsibilities. His role included a short-term assignment in London, where he gained global insights into HR practices.
