Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Murtaza Bhatia has joined Sify Technologies Limited as Vice President & Practice Head – Cybersecurity, bringing with him over two decades of experience in information technology and cybersecurity leadership. In his new role, he will oversee the strategic direction, growth, and innovation of Sify’s cybersecurity practice, driving enterprise resilience and advanced security solutions across sectors.
Murtaza joins Sify from NTT DATA, where he served as Senior Director of Sales, Cybersecurity, managing end-to-end cybersecurity solutions and strategic partnerships across India. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at NTT Ltd., serving as Sales Director – Cybersecurity and National Manager – Vertical Solutions, where he was instrumental in shaping business strategy, accelerating revenue growth, and establishing strong market alliances.
Earlier in his career, Murtaza spent over a decade with Dimension Data, holding multiple senior roles including National Business Manager – Cybersecurity, Practice Head – Data Centre and Security, and Practice Head – Core Technology Solutions. During this period, he led high-performing presales and consulting teams that delivered next-generation data center, cloud, and security services to enterprise clients. His leadership contributed to the company’s growth in managed services and technical consulting excellence.
Murtaza began his professional journey at CMS Computers India Pvt. Ltd. as a Technical Consultant, where he developed his foundational expertise in infrastructure, network, and security systems. Over the years, he has evolved into a seasoned cybersecurity strategist known for his ability to combine business acumen with deep technical insight to drive client success and innovation.
At Sify Technologies, Murtaza will lead the cybersecurity practice, advancing the company’s mission to deliver comprehensive, secure, and cloud-enabled ICT solutions. His mandate will focus on building advanced security frameworks, driving enterprise partnerships, and enhancing customer trust through robust cyber defense capabilities.
