London, United Kingdom — Nilam Lakhani has taken on the role of Chief People Officer at Sutton, the leading cultural communications agency, as announced in her recent statement: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief People Officer at Sutton!”

Nilam Lakhani brings a wealth of experience with over two decades in human resources across multiple industries. Prior to joining Sutton, she was the Global HR Director at the same company, where she played a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies and practices that align with the organization’s global operations. Her tenure at Sutton began in January 2024, during which she has already made significant contributions to the company’s people management strategies.

Before her latest role at Sutton, Lakhani served as the HR Director – EMEA at Trintech from February 2020 to June 2021. At Trintech, she was responsible for overseeing human resources activities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, enhancing employee relations and operational HR functions.

From March 2018 to November 2019, Lakhani led the people and culture strategies as the UK Lead – Head of People & Culture at Protiviti, where she was instrumental in embedding a business partnering approach and establishing workforce plans.

Earlier in her career, Lakhani was the Head of HR at Healys LLP, a medium-sized law firm, where she was instrumental in developing new cultural frameworks and performance management processes from June 2013 to March 2018. She also held significant roles at Heidrick & Struggles and Alsbridge plc, where she established robust HR functions and contributed to their recognition as excellent places to work.

Nilam Lakhani’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from London South Bank University, equipping her with foundational knowledge in business and management practices.
