Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 – Nitin Kathuria has been promoted to Chief Supply Chain Officer – India at Marico Limited, marking a significant milestone in his 22-year journey with the company. Starting as a Management Trainee in 2002, Nitin has played a pivotal role in streamlining operations, driving procurement efficiencies, and strengthening the supply chain. His leadership has been instrumental in talent development and process optimization, aligning with Marico’s ethos of nurturing talent and empowering leaders.

In his new role, Nitin will be responsible for enhancing operational efficiencies, driving digital transformation, and ensuring sustainable supply chain management to support Marico’s growing business in India and global markets.

Before this promotion, Nitin Kathuria served as Executive Vice President & Head Supply Chain at Marico Limited for over three years, where he led end-to-end supply chain strategy, focusing on procurement, logistics, and planning. His leadership ensured seamless supply chain operations and business continuity during challenging global market conditions.
Previously, he held the position of Head Supply Chain – Planning & Logistics, where he played a crucial role in optimizing demand-supply planning, strengthening logistics networks, and improving operational agility across Marico’s vast distribution channels.
Earlier in his career, Nitin held leadership roles such as Head – Out of Home Business, Cluster Head – Edible Oil Operations, and Factory Head at Marico’s Baddi Unit, where he successfully enhanced manufacturing efficiencies, streamlined procurement strategies, and improved plant productivity. His expertise in procurement and value-chain management was further honed during his tenure as Head – Non-Agri Procurement & MarVal and Head – Edible Oil Buying, where he focused on strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier partnerships.
Having started his career as a Management Trainee, Nitin’s growth at Marico Limited underscores the company’s strong focus on internal talent development and leadership succession planning.
