Over the last five years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Olayinka has steadily progressed through the firm’s leadership pipeline. He most recently served as Partner, following his tenure as Principal, where he led multiple high-impact engagements in corporate strategy, digital transformation, and climate resilience—including thought leadership on safeguarding coastal cities from climate change. His work has focused on enabling organizations to rethink business models, strengthen competitiveness, and deliver long-term societal value.

Before joining BCG, Olayinka spent over five years with McKinsey & Company, rising to the role of Engagement Manager. There, he managed multidisciplinary consulting teams delivering turnaround and performance improvement programs across Sub-Saharan Africa, with deep exposure to consumer packaged goods, private equity, and healthcare sectors. His experience at McKinsey sharpened his expertise in problem solving, stakeholder alignment, and large-scale execution.

Earlier in his career, he was Founding Partner at XpressIt Business Network Limited, where he envisioned and executed a residential real estate development project, leading financing, planning, and project governance. He also gained industry operations experience as Transportation Manager at Procter & Gamble Nigeria, strengthening his understanding of supply chain and operational leadership.

Olayinka holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, which laid the foundation for his strategic and leadership capabilities that continue to define his consulting impact.
