Padraig Carroll Appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition Enablement and Sourcing at EDGE

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, September 2025 – EDGE, one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defense groups, has announced the appointment of Padraig Carroll as Head of Talent Acquisition Enablement and Sourcing. Based in Abu Dhabi, Mr. Carroll will lead the company’s global talent acquisition strategy, sourcing initiatives, and recruitment operations, contributing to EDGE’s ambitious growth agenda and next-generation workforce vision.

In this strategic leadership role, Mr. Carroll will be responsible for optimizing EDGE’s talent acquisition systems, enhancing sourcing capabilities, and building frameworks that enable efficient and scalable hiring across its six core clusters.

Prior to joining EDGE, Mr. Carroll was with Verizon for nearly six years, where he served as Senior Talent Acquisition Leader and Associate Director at Verizon Connect, leading global recruitment initiatives across product, engineering, supply chain, UX, and enterprise functions.

Previously, he held the position of Commercial Director – Recruitment at Paragon Executive Intelligence, overseeing strategic hiring for multiple verticals across Ireland, the UK, the UAE, and the USA. He also served as Managing Director at Acsys Recruitment, specializing in technology and finance sectors.

Earlier in his career, he was Head of Practice – Technology Recruitment at Harvey Nash, where he led the Ireland operations and managed global sourcing teams. His earlier experience also includes leadership roles at Qualitas, and technical roles at HP and IBM, further enhancing his understanding of technology-driven recruitment environments.

Mr. Carroll holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National College of Ireland, with a focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and strategic business planning.
