Citizant is thrilled to announce the promotion of Pam Schoppert to the new position of Chief People Officer. In her 15 years at Citizant – most recently as VP of Human Experience & Quality – Pam has championed our people-centric culture and embodied leadership excellence. Thank you, Pam!
Pamela Schoppert has been with Citizant for over 14 years. She most recently served as the VP of Human Experience and Quality from January 2020 to the present, where she was a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance for a diverse technical portfolio across multiple federal agencies, including DHS, DOJ, IRS, and CDC.
She established the company’s Human Experience (HX) program, overseeing employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and partner collaboration, while also managing Citizant’s culture initiatives to promote a dynamic, transparent, and flexible work environment. Additionally, she provided strategic direction and oversight for Quality Management and Communication functions, ensuring corporate metrics and targets were met.
Prior to this role, Pam served as Corporate Quality Manager from January 2013 to January 2020, leading the Citizant Corporate Quality Program. She worked closely with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and project excellence. She was a member of the Corporate Leadership Team, collecting and analyzing corporate metrics to identify causes of variation and trends. Pam also managed the Corporate Process Asset Library and Corporate Training Program, ensuring corporate process credentials, such as CMMI and ISO, were maintained through regular assessments and appraisals.
From June 2010 to January 2013, Pam was a Senior Process Advisor, providing process improvement and appraisal expertise to federal government customers and internal corporate projects. She served as a process consultant to the Quality Program and Executive Management, representing Citizant through quality industry briefings and bringing CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC expertise to opportunities and engagements.
Before joining Citizant, Pam worked at the Software Engineering Institute from 2007 to 2011 as an industry member of the SEI CMMI-SVC v1.2 and v1.3 model development teams. She also had a significant tenure at SAIC from 1994 to 2010 as a Process Manager and Consultant, providing process management and consulting services.
