Gurgaon, Haryana, India, August 2024 – Pankaj Sharma has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Rockman Industries, a key player in the auto-components sector under the Hero Group. In this role, Sharma will lead the HR strategies for the company, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Before joining Rockman Industries, Pankaj Sharma was the Sr. Vice President & Head Group Human Resource at ANAND Group India for nearly six years. In this role, he was responsible for driving HR strategy, managing stakeholder relationships, and leading talent programs across the group. Sharma played a pivotal role in aligning HR functions with the company’s strategic goals and was instrumental in fostering diversity, inclusion, and organizational development.
Sharma also served as Head HR at MAHLE, where he managed HR operations, talent programs, and organizational design for six years. His contributions to the company included leadership in talent management, employee engagement, and HR process optimization.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Aircel Limited as an HR Business Partner, where he led initiatives in organizational design, talent management, and employee engagement. Sharma also has experience working with Deloitte Consulting and IBM Global Business Process Services, where he honed his skills in HR strategy, organizational development, and project management.
Rockman Industries, part of the $6 billion Hero Group, is a leading manufacturer of aluminium die-casting components, machined and painted assemblies, and a supplier to the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. The company has diversified into Carbon Composites through its acquisition of Moldex Composites. Rockman is a leader in alloy wheels manufacturing in India and supplies a wide range of components for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, including cylinder heads, crank cases, and transmission housing.
