Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2026 — Novartis has elevated Pankhuri Garg to the role of Director, Talent & Development. In her expanded leadership role, she will lead the vision, strategy and delivery of Novartis’ global Talent and Learning technology portfolio, overseeing platforms spanning Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance, Learning and Employee Experience. She will also drive AI-first transformation, product innovation, governance excellence and global adoption to build a future-ready talent ecosystem.
Pankhuri’s promotion marks another significant milestone in her journey with Novartis, where she has progressed through increasingly strategic leadership roles in People Technology and Data Insights. Prior to her elevation, she served as Design and Deployment Lead – Enterprise & Innovation Solutions for around one year, partnering with business and HR leaders to drive workforce transformation, enterprise-wide people technology initiatives, organizational change and data-driven HR innovation. Over the past year, she has played a key role in modernizing HR capabilities and enabling scalable, technology-driven people experiences across the organization.
Before joining Novartis, Pankhuri built an exceptional career spanning more than 19 years with IBM. During her tenure, she progressed through multiple technology and enterprise consulting leadership roles, including Enterprise Solutions Architect, Package Solution Consultant – Workday, SAP Technical Delivery Lead, SAP Technical Team Lead, Senior SAP NetWeaver Consultant, and SAP NetWeaver Consultant. She led numerous enterprise transformation initiatives, specializing in Workday Human Capital Management, SAP technologies and digital HR solutions for global organizations.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a Java Software Developer at Ozdocs International Pty Ltd for nearly one year, where she began building her expertise in enterprise technology and software development.
