Lagos State, Nigeria, June 2024 – Patrick Umo-Adiasung has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at VFD Group Plc. With extensive experience in human capital management and strategic HR leadership, Patrick brings a robust background in talent management and organizational development to his new role, aiming to drive impactful HR strategies and initiatives at VFD Group Plc.
Patrick Umo-Adiasung joins VFD Group Plc with a distinguished career in HR leadership across various sectors. At VFD Group Plc, he will focus on enhancing HR practices, fostering a strong organizational culture, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Prior to this, Patrick served as the Group Head Corporate Services & Strategy at Still Earth Holdings for approximately 10 months. In this role, he led corporate services and strategy initiatives, managing HR, corporate administration, and workforce planning. He also briefly served as the Group Head Human Resources at Still Earth Holdings, where he focused on HR strategy and learning and development.
Before Still Earth Holdings, Patrick was the Head Human Capital Management at Mixta Africa for about 1 year and 6 months, where he led HR transformation, HR management, and strategic HR initiatives. His responsibilities included overseeing HRIS, workforce planning, and global HR management.
Patrick’s extensive HR experience includes serving as the Director, People Experience and Market Development at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria CIPM for approximately 1 year and 5 months, and as the Head, Human Resources & Administration at Tenax Marine Limited (TSL Marine) for nearly 3 years.
Earlier in his career, Patrick held the position of Organisation Development/HRIS Analyst at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) for approximately 2 years and 7 months, and Human Resource Officer at Kuramo Industries Nigeria Limited and Megamound Investment Limited. He began his career as an Administrative Officer at Color Sense.
