Frimley, England, United Kingdom, November 2025 — Pete Hill has taken on an expanded role as Chief People & Shops Officer at Krispy Kreme UK & Ireland, marking the next chapter in his journey with the iconic doughnut brand. Building on his impactful tenure as Chief People Officer, Pete’s new role brings together people, culture, and retail operations — a combination that underscores Krispy Kreme’s commitment to delivering “magical moments” through both its people and its shops.

In announcing his new role, Pete shared, “My journey at Krispy Kreme continues — an amazing brand with amazing people. My role is evolving to Chief People and Shops Officer, meaning I get to spend even more time in our shops, with our retail team where it all happens.”

Pete has been part of Krispy Kreme UK & IRE for over two and a half years, where he has played a transformative role in building an engaging people culture and aligning HR strategy with business growth. As Chief People Officer, he led people initiatives focused on leadership development, organizational design, and employee engagement across more than 120 locations in the UK and Ireland.

Before joining Krispy Kreme, Pete spent nine years at Hovis Ltd, where he rose to the position of HR Director. During his tenure, he spearheaded strategic HR transformation, developed high-performance teams, and strengthened leadership capabilities across manufacturing and corporate divisions. His journey through various HR leadership roles at Hovis — including Head of HR – Support and HR Business Partner – Head Office — showcased his deep understanding of people operations within complex, large-scale organizations.

Earlier in his career, Pete served at Premier Foods, where he held multiple roles over five years, including Business Partner – Group HR Services and HR Systems Manager. His experience there helped him develop expertise in talent management and HR systems implementation. Pete began his professional career at RHM Ltd, where he spent over seven years managing HR and administrative operations.

About Krispy Kreme UK & IRE

Since its UK debut at Harrods in 2003, Krispy Kreme UK & Ireland has grown into one of the most beloved premium doughnut and coffee brands, with over 120 stores and 1,100 in-store cabinets across retail partners including Tesco, Morrisons, Costco, and Center Parcs. The brand expanded to Ireland in 2018, launching its first Theatre store in Dublin, and continues to grow with new locations, including Krispy Kreme Belfast in 2025.

Krispy Kreme’s philosophy revolves around creating “Magical Moments” — a commitment reflected in every doughnut, every cup of coffee, and every customer interaction. With a passionate team and a strong culture rooted in joy and connection, Krispy Kreme remains a workplace where people and purpose come together to deliver smiles, one doughnut at a time.
