Pune, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 – Pooja Asthana has been appointed as Country HR Head, India at BHTC GmbH. With over two decades of HR leadership experience, she will focus on developing people strategies, fostering a high-performance culture, and enhancing HR initiatives to support BHTC’s expansion in India.
Before joining BHTC GmbH, Pooja Asthana served as Head of HR, Business Partner at Voith Paper for nearly nine years, where she played a crucial role in developing HR strategies, building leadership teams, and driving employee engagement in the India region. Her leadership contributed significantly to Voith’s localized market strategy and workforce development initiatives.

Prior to that, she was AGM HR & OD Specialist at AAKRITI GROUP, where she led organizational development, talent acquisition, and HR transformation efforts. She also served as HR & Admin Head – Circle MP & CG at American Tower, overseeing HR operations, workforce policies, and compliance for multiple locations.
Her earlier experience includes serving as Plant & Generalist HR at Eicher Tractors, where she was responsible for HR operations, employee relations, and organizational development. She also held an HR role at The Adecco Group, where she managed recruitment and workforce planning for key business functions.
