Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 – Prabhjot Chhabra has been appointed as National Head, Personal Loans Product at ICICI Bank, marking a major milestone in his two-decade-long leadership journey with the bank. In his new role, he will lead the national personal loans product strategy, portfolio growth, business expansion, and customer proposition development across India.
In the period leading up to this national leadership role, Prabhjot Chhabra served as Zonal Head, Mumbai – Unsecured Business (Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Education Loans) and Secured Business (Joint Loans and Loan Against Securities), where he steered large regional portfolios and drove growth across both unsecured and secured lending segments.
Earlier, he was Zonal Head, Mortgages – Karnataka, overseeing retail mortgage operations across the state, following which he served as Deputy Zonal Head, Mumbai, managing large portfolios and client acquisition programs.
His leadership trajectory at ICICI Bank also includes multiple senior roles such as Chief Manager II & State Head – SME & Mid Corporate Sales, Chief Manager II & State Head – SME & Mid Corporate Relationship Group, and Chief Manager I & Regional Head, Mumbai, where he built and led high-performing relationship teams across regions.
Prabhjot began his career in finance with Auchtel Products Ltd. (formerly Henkel Chemicals India) as Finance Manager, and also gained early professional exposure through audit and consulting assignments with J N Sharma & Co., strengthening his grounding in finance, compliance, and internal audit.
