Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Prachi Vichare has been elevated to the role of HR Business Partner & India HR Lead at Munich Re India Branch, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey within the organization. This progression reflects her consistent contributions across talent acquisition, HR strategy, and people initiatives, reinforcing Munich Re’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and leadership capability.
In her new role, Prachi will lead the India HR agenda, partnering closely with business leaders to drive people strategy, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. Her elevation comes at a time when organizations are increasingly focusing on integrated HR leadership to support growth, transformation, and employee experience.
In her current role as HR Business Partner & India HR Lead at Munich Re, Prachi has taken on a broader leadership mandate after previously serving as Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist, where she played a key role in recruitment, compensation, talent management, diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, and employee wellness. Her journey within Munich Re over the past few years reflects steady growth and increasing responsibility across core HR functions.
Prior to joining Munich Re, she worked with trica as TA and HR Business Partner, where she was responsible for driving talent acquisition strategies and supporting business units with HR partnering, enabling workforce planning and organizational alignment.
Earlier, Prachi spent over four years at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where she held multiple roles across HR and talent acquisition. She contributed as Talent Acquisition Manager for Wealth Management, and earlier as Manager – Human Resources for the Asset Reconstruction Division, as well as Deputy Manager – Human Resources for Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking, where she supported business HR initiatives and talent acquisition strategies across key banking verticals.
She began her professional journey with RGF Management Search India as a Talent Acquisition Consultant, gaining exposure to executive search and leadership hiring mandates, followed by a role as a Management Trainee – Human Resources at HDB Financial Services Ltd., where she built foundational experience in HR operations, recruitment, and process management. Her early internships at Wipro and Mahindra & Mahindra further shaped her understanding of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR systems.
