Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2026 — Thoughtworks has appointed Pramod Devaiah as Vice President – Global Head People Operations. In this global leadership role, he will lead the organization’s People Operations function with a focus on integrating People Platforms, Talent Analytics, and Shared Services across regions. He will also drive digital transformation initiatives and advance the company’s AI agenda within the People function to enhance employee experience, strengthen decision-making capabilities, and build a scalable, future-ready HR ecosystem.
Pramod joins the role with more than two decades of experience spanning global people operations, HR transformation, talent acquisition, workforce strategy, analytics, and organizational effectiveness. At Thoughtworks, he will be responsible for aligning key people capabilities across geographies, creating a more integrated and data-driven operating model, and leveraging technology and automation to support business growth and employee success.
Prior to this appointment, Pramod served as Global Head People Operations – Director at A.P. Moller – Maersk, where he led a global team of more than 400 professionals supporting over 100,000 employees across 132 countries. In this role, he drove enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives, implemented AI-enabled and analytics-driven solutions, strengthened data governance frameworks, and advanced automation programs that improved operational efficiency and employee experience globally.
Earlier, he was Regional Head People Advisory – IMEA at A.P. Moller – Maersk, leading people advisory operations across 54 countries and supporting approximately 25,000 employees. He played a key role in shaping regional people strategies, enhancing HR service delivery, and driving organizational effectiveness initiatives across diverse markets.
Before Maersk, Pramod worked with JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Associate Talent Acquisition – Global Finance, where he led hiring initiatives for global finance functions. He also served as Head India Recruitment at Lowe’s Companies, Inc., overseeing large-scale technology and analytics recruitment, strengthening employer branding initiatives, and driving campus hiring programs.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than seven years with Target as Manager – HR Strategy and Process, leading talent acquisition transformation initiatives, staffing analytics, employer branding programs, HR reporting frameworks, and process improvement projects. He began his HR leadership journey through roles at Accenture and Convergys, gaining extensive experience in HR operations, workforce management, client engagement, and talent processes.
Pramod’s appointment comes at a time when organizations worldwide are accelerating the adoption of AI, automation, and data-driven people practices. His deep expertise in global HR operations, digital transformation, talent strategy, and people analytics is expected to help Thoughtworks further strengthen its people capabilities while supporting the company’s continued growth and innovation agenda.
