Kozhikode, Kerala, India, January 2026 – Pratap Shankar C P has been promoted to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at KVR GROUP, marking a significant recognition of his leadership and long-standing contribution to the organization. Having served as Group Head Human Resources for nearly three years, Pratap has played a pivotal role in shaping HR strategy, strengthening talent frameworks, and aligning people practices with the Group’s expanding business footprint across the Malabar region.
Prior to this elevation, Pratap led HR for ROYAL DRIVE for nearly three years as Group Human Resources Head, where he focused on performance management, talent development, and HR transformation across multiple business units. His work during this period established strong foundations in leadership development, structured recruitment processes, and employee engagement initiatives that supported business growth.
Earlier, he served for close to three years as Head – HR at Eram Motors – Mahindra & Mahindra Dealer, overseeing HR operations, compensation management, and strategic workforce planning. This was followed by a brief tenure at ITL WORLD™ as Senior Manager – HR, where he contributed to HR operations and project management with an emphasis on process improvement and capability building.
Pratap also spent over four years with the Alhind Group of Companies as HR Manager, strengthening HR policies, recruitment frameworks, and employee relations across the organization. Before that, he served as Senior Manager HR at National Hospital Kozhikode for over a year, supporting one of Malabar’s most reputed healthcare institutions in people management and organizational effectiveness.
His professional journey began with a long and formative tenure of over thirteen years at Soma Block Prints Pvt. Ltd. as Senior Manager HR & Administration, where he managed large-scale HR and administrative functions in a heritage-driven manufacturing environment, gaining deep experience in people leadership and organizational management.
In his new role as Chief Human Resources Officer at KVR GROUP, Pratap will steer group-wide HR strategy, leadership development, culture building, and transformation initiatives as the organization continues to expand its presence across automobile dealerships and allied sectors.
